Irvin Bermudez
Controller
Irvin Bermudez serves as Controller at Banyan Residential, where he is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and reconciling draw schedules, overseeing financial statement completion, and other partner/lender reporting. Prior to joining Banyan, Mr. Bermudez most recently served as Senior Accountant at The Morgan Group, a Houston-based private real estate company focused on development, construction, acquisition, and management of multi-family units. During his time there, he was responsible for preparing the AIA/G703 construction draw documents for monthly funding requirements, approval of construction related costs, and maintenance of owner specific reconciliations, including construction deliverables and partner/lender reporting. Prior to The Morgan Group, he worked as Senior Accountant at Camden Property Trust (NYSE: CPT), a leading U.S multifamily REIT. While at Camden, he was responsible for reviewing and approving construction related invoices, maintaining the Project and Fixed Asset subledgers, and completing month-end functions.
Irvin received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Sam Houston State University and a Strategic Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Houston-Victoria.
